Dear Friends & Neighbors,
I’m running for the Washington State Senate in the 4th Legislative District – representing Colbert, Green Bluff, Liberty Lake, Millwood, and Spokane Valley.
I grew up in the Valley, graduating from Central Valley High School. I have been a small business owner for over 32 years, with Masters Degrees in Business and Education.
I have served on the Spokane Valley City Council since 2016, and as Mayor since 2022.
My roles as a Mayor & Councilmember have given me extensive experience in government budgeting, community partnerships, contract negotiations, and constituent advocacy on many local, state, and federal issues. As a small business owner, I quickly learned how to give up frills and still manage essentials.
My motivation is you, the hard-working citizens of this state. I know first-hand that a Council Member and Mayor is a representative of all the people, not a champion of special interests.
As a State Senator, I will put you first.
I humbly ask for your vote to continue the work that I have started. In Olympia, I will focus on public safety, lower taxes, and reduced government regulation and interference.
There are so many problems facing our region and our state; and every year, failed policies from Olympia are only adding to them. Rising crime rates with lenient sentencing for offenders, increased taxes, burdensome regulations, and unfunded mandates have all turned our home into a nightmare.
We can do better.
With your support, we will work to get Washington back to a place we can call “home.”
